4 months old

Corben is 4 months old!!
We were surprised to learn a few days ago that he is measuring 27.5 inches long (apparently that is greater than the 95th percentile) and his weight is average at 16 lbs 8 oz (50-75th percentle).
Corben seems to be extremely social and outgoing. Perhaps as the youngest he has to work a little harder to get attention? Either way, he typically will flash a wide grin at others in hopes he'll catch the eye of whoever is around him. He enjoys cooing and making sounds that sound like "geet."  He is holding his head up fairly well, but has not yet rolled over. He has figured out how to use his legs to push up, often scooting upwards on his back. He loves being around his siblings, even though they are often absorbed in their own activities and don't realize he is closely observing them.
One of Corben's favorite activities is taking a bath. He expects a bath every night, and enjoys his time splashing around.
Corben's sleep is overall improved.  He can sometimes be put down awake to sleep at night, but sometimes prefers to nurse to sleep. He'll sleep 3-4 hours then wakes up [around midnight or 1 AM] and demands to be fed (being held or comforted is not enough). He often wakes up again around  5 AM for a quick snack. On some nights he wakes up at 3 AM too, just for good measure. The one good part about his sleep is most mornings he is willing to sleep until 8 AM, sometimes even 9 AM, so on days the kids don't have to wake up early, the three of them are all sound asleep giving Jason and I a jump start on the day (lately spent shoveling all the snow we are getting!)
We are very fortunate to have Corben in our lives and look forward to seeing his bright smile every morning (he always wakes up happy).
